Paleo Autoimmune Protocol Recipes: The paleo autoimmune protocol (AIP) is a nutrient dense dietary program designed to help your body reduce inflammation and remove foods that contribute to a leaky gut, both of which are strongly associated with autoimmune diseases. A few common autoimmune diseases are rheumatoid arthritis (RA), lupus, multiple sclerosis (MS), psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD or IBS). Following this protocol is tough because it's basically strict paleo minus eggs, nuts, seeds (including coffee and cocoa), dairy, nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and red pepper spices including paprika) and certain spices like caraway, allspice and black pepper. But thanks to many contributors and the watchful eye of our Auto-Immune Ambassador, Erin (and Eileen before her), we have several hundred recipes that have been vetted to insure they are appropriate for this diet. New recipes are added almost daily, so please check back often.
