The flu monster seems to be making his rounds early this year, and several members of our family have been under attack. As bad as I hate to admit it, that includes me. I think it has been 7 or 8 years since dealing with anything like this, and as I mentioned to several people, I had forgotten how bad it feels to be sick. But I’m on the mend now, and I’ve learned a few things from the past week that I’d like to pass along so look for a post on that topic later this week. Maybe you’ll be a little more prepared than we were if the flu monster decides to pay your house a visit.
Last week’s top 10 recipes included 2 paleo pumpkin pies, so holiday meal planning is well under way. But the most popular recipe was a super quick and easy White Chicken Chili. Although the recipe uses Trader Joe’s canned chicken, it could just as easily be made with leftover rotisserie chicken or even better, from a bird you’ve cooked yourself. The other most popular recipes include spaghetti squash boats, paleo pizza dough, homemade marshmallows (what!?), nacho cauliflower, sweet potato flat bread, homemade coconut butter and a fantastic tutorial for making a stuffed roasted pork loin. Hope you find some new favorite real food, paleo inspired recipes to help you stay healthy throughout the holiday season!
