Chowstaker’s 3rd Birthday Paleo Book Giveaway

Yup, it’s been 3 years (to the day) since we went live with our paleo recipe sharing site. Ron here. It all started at the kitchen table one evening (like so many good things). Patty had been uploading photos and links from her food blog to a couple of recipe sharing websites, but she got […]

Chowstalker’s Top 10 Recipes for the Week ending November 16, 2013

Last week’s top 10 recipes included 2 paleo pumpkin pies, so holiday meal planning is well under way. But the most popular recipe was a super quick and easy White Chicken Chili. Although the recipe uses Trader Joe’s canned chicken, it could just as easily be made with leftover rotisserie chicken or even better, from a bird you’ve cooked yourself. The other most popular recipes include spaghetti squash boats, paleo pizza dough, homemade marshmallows (what!?), nacho cauliflower, sweet potato flat bread, homemade coconut butter and a fantastic tutorial for making a stuffed roasted pork loin. Hope you find some new favorite real food, paleo inspired recipes to help you stay healthy throughout the holiday season!

Chowstalker’s Top 10 Recipes
for the Week ending November 9, 2013

This week’s Top 10 is packed with simple and easy to make paleo comfort food. Apparently people either had enough Halloween candy left to satisfy their sweet tooth last week or had decided to stay away from sweets altogether because savory recipes were by far the most popular. Two simple chocolate recipes did break through to the top, but one has 3 ingredients and is sweetened only with raisins and the other has 4 ingredients and uses maple syrup. So compared to many of the paleo desserts out there, these 2 are pretty tame. If you missed any of these great recipes from last week, be sure to check them out. Bet you’ll find a new favorite or two!

Well Fed 2

Well Fed 2 by Melissa Joulwan

We’ve only met Melissa Joulwan once in real life (at the inaugural AHS in 2011) but I feel like I know her so much better.  That may be due to the fact that I stalked her and that she was the very first person to share recipes with Chowstalker.  But anyone who reads her blog or […]
